Front and rear cross bars are angled to minimize wind noise at high speeds, and incorporated feature which prevents backward installation of cross bars. You can easily install or remove the cross bars by simply removing the rear caps. The accessory roof attachments can be installed without having to remove any cross bar components. These arrived promptly and appear OEM. They installed without much difficulty. I would not exceed the weight limits because they are certainly not 'overbuilt' but they don't appear any weaker (or stronger) than OEM cross bars. The bars flex a bit under load. I've used them to carry a Thule rooftop box without any difficulty.
I haven't noticed any wind noise.
